MARSHALL, Minn. – Officials from Southwest Minnesota State and Minot State announced on Wednesday this weekend's four-game Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference baseball series between the two schools, originally scheduled to be played in Minot, N.D., Saturday and Sunday, will now be relocated to Milroy, Minn., at Yankee Field on Thursday and Friday.
The teams will play a doubleheader on Thursday starting at 1:30 p.m., while Friday's doubleheader will begin at 12 p.m. MSU will serve as the 'home' team for all four games.
SMSU is 12-7 overall, 7-5 NSIC, while MSU is 12-8 overall, 7-5 NSIC.
Concessions will not be available, so fans are encourage to bring their own snacks and beverages.
