MARSHALL, Minn. – Southwest Minnesota State University Athletics and The Hitching Post in Marshall is excited to announce 'The Hitching Post Baseline Experience' inside the R/A Facility for six of the remaining seven home doubleheaders for SMSU men's and women's basketball games along with the NCAA Super Region Wrestling Championship in February.
 
Fans cheering on the Mustangs can purchase beer, including Mustang Golden Ale and seltzers along with enjoying appetizers in a designated location in the east end of the R/A Facility. Fans must be 21 years of age or older to purchase alcohol.
 
This idea is designed to enhance the fan experience at Mustang games, while continuing a safe and family-friendly environment.
 
The 'Hitching Post Baseline Experience' is made possible through a partnership with The Hitching Post and the Mustang Club.
