MARSHALL, Minn. – Officials from Southwest Minnesota State University and the University of Minnesota Crookston announced on Tuesday the upcoming SMSU/UMC Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference four-game baseball series will now be played Saturday and Sunday at Aspen Park in Brandon, S.D.
 
The two teams were originally scheduled to meet on Saturday and Sunday in Fort Scott, Kan., but the series was moved due to warmer conditions and field availability in Brandon. 
 
The series will feature doubleheaders both days starting at 12 p.m. The first three games of the series will be conference games, while the fourth game of the series will be a non-conference game.
 
This will be the first games of the season for SMSU, while UMC is 1-2 on the season.
