MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State wrestling team hosts the 2026 NCAA DII Super Regional V on Saturday, beginning at 10 a.m. in the R/A Facility. 11 teams will be in attendance, including all 10 postseason-eligible NSIC teams (Jamestown is not yet eligible for postseason play) and Upper Iowa.
 
SMSU fifth-year head coach Chayse Jackson is listing 10 available wrestlers to compete on Saturday.
 
The Mustangs last outing came on Feb. 12 against Minnesota State, dropping that contest 46-0.
 
Five competing teams are ranked in the NWCA and Open Mat NCAA DII top 25, including Augustana, St. Cloud State, Wisconsin-Parkside, UMary, and Minnesota State. Northern State and Upper Iowa are both receiving votes in the NWCA Coaches Poll and are ranked in the Open Mat dual rankings.
 
In total, 41 wrestlers competing on Saturday are ranked in the Open Mat top 20 in their respective weight classes, and 28 wrestlers are ranked in the top 15 in their respective weight classes in the NWCA Coaches Poll.
 
The tournament will be streaming live on FLOWrestling, and will begin at 10 a.m., with the finals taking place at 5 p.m. Tickets, live stats, and more information can be found on the tournament central page.
