BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Southwest Minnesota State University sophomore right-handed pitcher Jameson Quinn has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Pitcher of the Week for his no-hit performance at Minnesota Duluth on Saturday afternoon.
 
Quinn, a native of Eden Prairie, Minn., tossed the ninth no-hitter in team history, and first since 2014, in SMSU's 1-0 seven-inning victory. He walked one batter while striking out six in facing two batters over the minimum.
 
In his last four appearances (three starts), Quinn has tossed 24 innings, while allowing eight eights, one run, four walks and three hit batters, while striking out 17.
 
Quinn is a 2024 graduate of Holy Family Catholic High School. 
 
SMSU, 20-26 overall, 10-24 NSIC, concludes the 2026 season on Tuesday hosting Augustana University in a doubleheader starting at 3:30 p.m.
