SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Southwest Minnesota State women's golf team shot a 57-over par 345 and currently is in fifth place after one round at the five-team Augustana Invite played on Thursday at Prairie Green G.C. in Sioux Falls, S.D. Tomorrow's second and final round will be played at Brookings C.C. in Brookings, S.D.
Concordia University leads the tournament after shooting a team score of 320.
Freshman
KC Kane shot SMSU's low round of the day with a seven-over par 79 and currently is in a tie for sixth place. Junior
Melissa Lackas is tied for 20th after an opening round score of 86.
Abby Oakland (89),
Stephanie Bruns (91) and
Sarah Baukol (103) rounded out SMSU's team scoring.
Rachael Stoebe played as an individual and carded a 91.
