MARSHALL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State tennis team will host Bemidji State in its first home match of the season on Saturday at 1 p.m at Marshall High School.

SMSU enters the match with a 2-12 overall record and 1-6 mark in the NSIC.  BSU sports a 4-11 record and is 4-6 in NSIC play.

While the match is scheduled to be played at Marshall High School, if windy conditions exist the match could be moved to Legion Field in Marshall.  That venue is located on Legion Field Road off West College Drive.

Match Notes:
First of two home matches for SMSU in 2009 ... Mustangs beat Northern State the last time they played at home--that coming last season ... SMSU is 23-4 against Bemidji State all-time ... The Beavers defeated SMSU 6-3 last season.
