The 2023 Academic All-District® women's tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Leonard, a native of Albuquerque, N.M., is a two-time Academic All-NSIC honoree and graduated with a degree in psychology. A three-year member of the program after transferring from Cowley College, Lenoard recorded 25 career singles victories and 28 in doubles play.
Oye, from Luverne, Minn., has been a member of the program for two seasons and is an Academic All-NSIC honoree. A math education major, she has registered 20 career victories in doubles play and four in singles action.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First- and second-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 1.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
