NCAA Super Regional 3 Final Results
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Southwest Minnesota State senior
Abby Oakland shot a 12-over-par 84 in the third and final round of the NCAA Super Regional 3 Golf Championships and finished 12th overall with a three-round total of 27-over-par 243. The three-round tournament was played at Westward Ho Country Club in Sioux Falls, S.D. Oakland missed qualifying for the national tournament by four shots.
SMSU, which was making its sixth NCAA regional appearance in school history, shot a team score of 334 on Wednesday, its best round of the tournament and finished in seventh place in the nine-team tournament with a three-round total of 1,013.
Upper Iowa won the team championship with a score of 930, with Concordia-St. Paul finishing second at 947 and Augustana third at 965. All three teams now advance to the NCAA National Championships in Findlay, Ohio, May 13-16.
Rochelle Schmidt of Upper Iowa won the individual title with a 4-over-par 220.

KC Kane fired her best round of the tournament with a 4-over-par 76 on Wednesday and finished tied for 18th at 31-over-par. Junior
Melissa Lackas carded an 87 in the final round and finished tied for 27th at 36-over-par. Sophomore
Sarah Baukol finished with her best round of the tournament on Wednesday with a score of 87 and finished 42nd overall at 55-over. Sophomore
Rachael Stoebe also had her best score of the tournament in the final round, scoring an 87 and finished the championship in a tie for 43rd at 58-over.
