MARSHALL, Minn.- Augustana snapped the Southwest Minnesota State tennis team's five-match win streak in a 7-2 decision Monday at Legion Field.
Augustana remains undefeated with a 17-0 (9-0 NSIC) record, while SMSU falls to 8-8 (4-5 NSIC).
The Vikings took two of the three doubles contests from the Mustangs with
Danielle Hildebrandt and
Lissa Murakami taking one match 9-7 from Hannah Gebauer and Michelle Wadas.
Trisha Baldwin won the only other match for SMSU earning a win from the No. 4 singles spot. She defeated Jill Hagestuen in three sets (2-6, 6-4, 10-7).
SMSU will be in action again Saturday when the Mustangs travel to Bethel.
