MARSHALL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State tennis team will take the No. 7 seed to the 2010 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference women's tennis tournament and will play No. 2-seeded St. Cloud State this weekend at the Baseline Tennis Center in Minneapolis.

SMSU, which finished the NSIC season with a 4-6 record, will face SCSU, which owns a conference record of 8-1, at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Seedings for the NSIC Tournament were determined by the final conference standings.

SMSU finished the regular season with an overall record of 9-10.

The winner of the SMSU/SCSU match will face the winner of the Winona State/Minnesota State Moorhead match at 11 a.m. on Sunday.  The championship match is at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
