FIRST PITCH
The Southwest Minnesota State softball team (28-17) earned the No. 6 seed in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference softball tournament and will face No. 3 seed Minnesota Duluth (29-13) at 10 a.m. on Thursday. The tournament is being hosted by regular season champion and No. 1 seed Augustana College. Games will be played at Sherman Park and Bowden Field in Sioux Falls, S.D. Southwest Minnesota State completed NSIC play with a record of 16-9 finishing in sixth place in the final conference standings.
