ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State tennis team falls to 0-3 on the season after a 9-0 loss to Macalester College on Sunday afternoon in St. Paul, Minn. Angie Wiegmann forced an extra frame at No. 1 singles falling to Katelyn Glenna 6-3, 7-6 (7-2).

Wiegmann and Katie Kienitz lost a close match at No. 1 doubles falling 8-5 to Katelyn Glenna and Gabby Queenan.

Southwest Minnesota State will begin Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action next Saturday taking on Augustana at 1 p.m. in Bismarck, N.D. before taking on Montana State-Billings in a non-conference match at 4 p.m.
