ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State tennis team fell to 0-8, 0-3 NSIC on the season dropping a non-conference match 7-2 to Concordia College-Moorhead (6-5) and 9-0 to St. Cloud State (8-10, 3-1 NSIC) at Gold's Gym in St. Cloud, Minn. on Saturday afternoon.

SMSU got a win at No. 3 singles against Concordia-Moorhead by Allison Niedert who defeated Olivia DeLeon 6-1, 2-6, 1-0 (10-3). Angie Wiegmann and Katie Kienitz picked up an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles for the Mustangs.

St. Cloud State swept all six singles matches and all three doubles matches on its way to the 9-0 victory.

SMSU returns to NSIC action tomorrow morning taking on Minnesota State, Mankato at 9:30 a.m. on the campus of Gustavus Adolphus in St. Peter, Minn.
