MATCH RESULTS

MINNETONKA, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State women's tennis team dropped to 0-11, 0-6 NSIC on the season after a 9-0 loss to MSU Moorhead (4-8, 4-4 NSIC) at the Life Time Athletic Oakdale Village Tennis Center in Minnetonka, Minn.

The Dragons won all six singles matches and all three doubles matches en route to the victory. Two of the three of doubles matches were won by just two sets. At No. 2 doubles, Maria Lindberg and Allison Niedert lost 8-6 to Jenna Beth Galstad and Jamie LaCoursiere. 

Ashley Plucker and Katie Carlson lost 8-6 to Kaitlin McNary and Tiffany Kapalczynski at No. 3 doubles.

SMSU returns to action with three matches next weekend starting with Minnesota Duluth at 12 p.m. on Saturday in Winona, Minn.
