FIRST PITCH
The Southwest Minnesota State softball team (12-8, 3-1 NSIC) continues Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play with a mid-week doubleheader against 22nd-ranked Augustana College (23-4, 3-1 NSIC) beginning at 3 p.m. at Bowden Field. SMSU returns to Marshall for its home opener, hosting a pair of conference doubleheaders against Minnesota, Crookston (7-14, 1-3 NSIC) on Saturday and MSU Moorhead (5-14, 1-3 NSIC) on Sunday. Both doubleheaders are set for a 1 p.m. start at Mustang Field.
