MATCH RESULTS

WINONA, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's tennis team fell to 0-14, 0-8 NSIC after a 9-0 loss to Winona State University (12-2, 7-1 NSIC) at the Winona Tennis Center on Sunday morning. The Warriors won all six singles matches and all three doubles matches on the day.

At No. 2 singles, Katie Kienitz lost 6-3, 6-2 to Laura Lindstrand. Ashley Plucker dropped a 6-2, 6-2 decision to Laura Roesslein at No. 4 singles.

Angie Wiegmann and Kienitz lost 8-2 at No. 1 doubles to Laura Lindstrand and Jessica Urban while Allison Niedert and Maria Lindberg lost 8-2 to Leah Koehler and Laura Roesslein at No. 2 doubles.

SMSU returns to action on April 14 with matches against Bemidji State and Upper Iowa at Gold's Gym in St. Cloud, Minn.
