SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Southwest Minnesota State tennis team fell to Augustana College (S.D.) 9-0 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action on Sunday. The match was played indoors at the Sioux Empire Fitness Center in Sioux Falls.

The Mustangs (0-3, 0-2 NSIC) suffered their consecutive conference loss over the weekend, both to teams that finished first and second in the NSIC. The defending NSIC champions Vikings took all nine matches versus SMSU. With the win, Augustana (5-0, 4-0 NSIC) extended its winning streak to 37 matches as the Vikings also defeated Upper Iowa over the weekend.
