Jamie Dunn announced Monday that the program's Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference doubleheader with Concordia-St. Paul, originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 23, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, April 22, at 2 and 4 p.m. at Carlander Field in St. Paul, Minn.
The St. Paul area is forcasted for rain on Wednesday, which prompted the schedule change.
SMSU (11-28-1, 8-15-1 NSIC) will look to get back on the winning track as the Mustangs have lossed six straight dating back to April 15. SMSU, currently in 12th place in the NSIC standings, heads down the home stretch hoping to inch up into the 10th place spot and secure its first NSIC tournament berth in three seasons. SMSU concludes the 2014 season this week with three NSIC road doubleheaders starting on Tuesday.
