FARGO, N.D. - The Southwest Minnesota State women's tennis team fell 9-0 to The University of Sioux Falls in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference action at Courts Plus in Fargo on Saturday. 

Katie Kienitz and Crystal Overbaugh lost a close battle in No. 1 doubles as the pair fell 9-8 (14-12) to Joey Bosch and Stacey Beard. USF (6-8, 3-5 NSIC) took the other two doubles matches by scores of 8-1 and 8-6 over Lindsey Brace/Kayla Uphus and Shelby Monahan/Samantha Ritter. 

Overbaugh suffered another close defeat in her singles match versus Bosch as she fell 6-3, 1-6, (10-6). 

SMSU drops to 3-13 overall, 1-7 in the NSIC with the loss. 

SMSU will take on MSU Moorhead tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. at Courts Plus in Fargo.
