MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's tennis team concludes the 2015 season this Saturday with a pair of Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matches in Bemidji, Minn.
SMSU (4-12, 0-9 NSIC) will take on Bemidji State starting at 9 a.m., before closing the season with a match versus Minnesota Crookston beginning at 1 p.m. Both matches will take place at Gillett Recreation/Fitness Center.
SMSU was last in action on March 29, dropping a 6-3 match to Minnesota Duluth and a 7-2 decision to St. Cloud State.
Freshman
Ashley Hoehne leads the team with a 10-6 record at No. 5 singles, while the No. 1 doubles team of
Katie Kienitz and
Gabby Tellijohn have four wins overall, including three in NSIC play. The No. 2 doubles team of Hoehne and
Crystal Overbaugh has four wins on the season, with one coming in conference play.
