FARGO, N.D. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's tennis team dropped a 7-2 match tonight to U-Mary in NSIC action at Courts Plus.
 
SMSU dropped all three doubles matches before earning victories at No. 4 and No. 6 singles.
 
The Mustangs' Ashley Hoehne picked up a 7-5, 6-3 victory over Anastasia Bruss at No. 4, before Britney Thompson secured a 6-1, 7-6 win over Shanna Stevenson at No. 6.
 
SMSU drops to 0-7 overall, 0-6 NSIC, while U-Mary improves to 2-4 overall and in the NSIC.
 
Southwest Minnesota State will continue play on Sunday taking on MSU Moorhead at Courts Plus in Fargo starting at 9 a.m.
