FARGO, N.D. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 match to a strong MSU Moorhead squad on Sunday in NSIC action at Courts Plus.

SMSU, 0-8 overall, 0-7 NSIC, will return to action in two weeks, with five non-conference matches in Orlando, Fla., during spring break.

SMSU's No. 1 doubles team of
Crystal Overbaugh and
Gabby Tellijohn dropped an 8-3 decision, while SMSU's No. 2 doubles squad of
Britney Thompson and
Ashley Hoehne also fell 8-3.

Overbaugh moved into the No. 1 singles position today and lost 6-1, 6-0, while Tellijohn lost 6-0 and 6-3 at No. 2. Thompson won five games during her match at No. 5, but lost 6-1, 6-4.
