SCOUTING AUGUSTANA
The Vikings will enter Tuesday's doubleheader 28-11 overall and 15-2 in the NSIC and is carrying an 11-game winning streak. Augustana sits at the top of the NSIC standings after sweeping its last five opponents (UMC, BSU, USF, NSU, MSUM). Senior pitcher Carley Pickett leads the Vikings with a .420 batting average and in hits with 55, while also having 10 extra base hits and 15 RBIs. Senior infielder Carly Peterson is batting .406 with 54 hits and team high 15 extra bases, including 24 RBIs. Sophomore catcher Maggie Kadrlik leads the Vikings in long shots with 11 homers, 44 RBIs and slugging .740. Junior pitcher Karlee Koopman leads the Vikings in the circle carrying a 2.03 ERA and a 10-5 record. Senior pitcher Carley Pickett—named NSIC Pitcher of the Week—follows with a 2.13 ERA and a 17-6 record. Augustana University head coach Gretta Melsted is in her 10th season with a 459-262 overall record.
AUGUSTANA Â SERIES HISTORY
Southwest Minnesota State and Augustana University will meet for the 68th and 69th times on Wednesday with Augustana holding a 53-14 advantage in a series that started in 1974. SMSU split with the Vikings in the regular season a season ago in Marshall, which snapped a 12-game losing skid, but suffered a 2-0 loss in the NSIC Tournament. Augustana holds a 27-2 advantage in games played in Sioux Falls, with SMSU's last win coming back in 2007.

THE COACH
Jamie Dunn is in her third season as head coach at Southwest Minnesota State University and has compiled a 56-80-1 overall record and a 33-36-1 in the NSIC. Prior to SMSU, Dunn spent the 2013 season as assistant coach at NCAA Division II Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, Colo., and three seasons as head coach at Fruita Monument High School. SCOUTING SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA STATE
The Mustangs continued NSIC action last weekend finishing with a 3-1 record at home. SMSU swept St. Cloud State last Saturday 6-1 in the first game and 8-0 in the final game in six innings. SMSU closed the weekend with a split against Minnesota Duluth, recording a 3-1 victory in game one but fell in game two, 5-1. SMSU is 14-21 overall and 10-8 in the NSIC. Sophomore second baseman
