Mustangs drop Sunday match to U-Mary

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. –
The Southwest Minnesota State women's tennis team remained winless in NSIC play, dropping a 7-2 match-up versus the University of Mary on Sunday morning.
 
SMSU's No. 1 doubles team of Gabby Tellijohn and Paige Janka lead 5-4 in its match before an injury to U-Mary gave the Mustangs the victory.
 
Tellijohn also won by injury default at No. 1 singles for SMSU's other point.
 
SMSU's Hannah Starke (No. 2) and Jenna Gannott (No. 5) both lost tight matches during single play.
 
SMSU (2-8, 0-6 NSIC) returns to action on Sunday, March 5, playing the first of six matches in the Orlando, Florida, area during spring break week.
