HAINES CITY, Fla. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's tennis lost 8-1 this afternoon to Bentley (Mass.) in non-conference action at the Lake Eva Tennis Courts.
 
SMSU (2-11) picked up its only point at No. 1 singles as Gabby Tellijohn earned a 3-6, 6-1, 1-0 (11-9) victory over Rachel Petrini.
 
SMSU will look to snap its nine-match losing streak tomorrow facing Eckerd (Fla.) in St. Petersburg, Fla., starting at 8 a.m. CST.
