GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's tennis team earned its first NSIC victory of the season on Saturday with a 9-0 win over Minnesota Crookston at Choice Health and Fitness.
 
Gabby Tellijohn and Hannah Starke picked up an 8-3 at No. 1 doubles, while Paige Janka and Britney Thompson (No. 2) and Jenna Gannott and Brittany Soupir (No. 3) both recorded 8-0 wins in doubles action.
 
Tellijohn recorded a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles, while the Mustangs' No. 2 through No. 6 players all won in straight sets.
 
Southwest Minnesota State (4-17, 1-9 NSIC) concludes the season tomorrow morning taking on Bemidji State at 8:30 in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
