MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's tennis team concluded its fall schedule on Wednesday with a 9-0 victory over Mount Marty College (S.D.) at the Marshall High School Tennis Court.
 
Cora Delich earned a 6-1, 6-0 victory over Lacee Fedeler at No. 1 singles, Olivia Watzke picked up a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 2 singles over Consuelo Michel, while Hannah Starke at No. 3 and Gabby Potthoff at No. 4 earned 6-0, 6-0 victories. Hanna Himmelman also won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-1 at No. 5 singles. The Lancers forfeited at No. 6.
 
In doubles plays, Watzke and Starke won 8-3 at No. 1, while Potthoff and Delich teamed up for an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles. MMC forfeited at No. 3 doubles.
 
Southwest Minnesota State finished the 2018 fall season with a record of 4-0. The Mustangs return to action in January 2019.
