MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's team returns to Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play this Friday and Saturday with a pair of matches in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
SMSU (5-9, 1-5 NSIC) will take on St. Cloud State (2-12, 2-4 NSIC) on Friday night starting at 7:30, before facing Minnesota Duluth (5-3, 3-3 NSIC) on Saturday beginning at 7 p.m. Both matches will be played at Lifetime Fitness Oakdale Village. UMD will take on Minnesota State on Saturday afternoon prior to its match versus SMSU.
SMSU last played on March 8, defeating Northwestern College (Iowa), 8-1 in Haines City, Florida.
SMSU is 5-32 all-time versus SCSU with SMSU's last victory coming during the 1992 season. SCSU has won the last 24 meetings in the series.
UMD has won the last seven meetings between the two teams with SMSU's last win coming in 2010. UMD holds a 23-14 all-time advantage in the series.

Cora Delich has a team-high six victories for SMSU at No. 2 singles and also has five wins in doubles play. Sophomore
Hannah Starke has four wins in singles and six in doubles play.
Sophomore
Paige Janka has a team-leading eight wins in doubles play, while senior
Gabby Tellijohn and Starke both have six victories in doubles.
