MARSHALL, Minn. - The Southwest Minnesota State University women's tennis team concludes Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play on Saturday and Sunday with two big matches versus the Univesity of Sioux Falls and Augustana University.

SMSU, 13-9 overall, 3-6 NSIC, is looking to secure a top eight spot in the final NSIC standing and qualify for the NSIC Tournament for the first time since 2010.

SMSU will take on USF on Saturday night at 6:30 at Huether Family Match Pointe, while on Sunday SMSU will face AU at the Greatlife Woodlake Athletic Club starting at 8:30 a.m.

USF, which is 5-8 overall, 4-5 NSIC, leads the all-time series 10-3, and has won the previous seven meetings, including 8-1 last season. SMSU's last victory in the series came during the 2009 season. AU leads the all-time series versus SMSU, 21-5, having won the previous 13 meetings. SMSU's last win came during the 2002 season.

Augustana, which was won eight straight NSIC championships, begins the weekend having won 108 straight conference matches.
