SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's tennis team concluded the regular season on Sunday morning with a 7-0 loss to Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference regular season champion and No. 24 ranked Augustana at Great Life Woodlake Athletic Club.
 
The Mustangs finished the regular season 13-11 overall, 3-8 NSIC. SMSU will now await results around the NSIC in the next week to see if it qualifies for the NSIC Tournament on April 13-14 in Minnetonka, Minn. The Vikings, which have won 110 straight conference matches, improve to 16-2 overall and finished the NSIC season 11-0.
 
In doubles play, SMSU lost hard-fought match at No. 1 as Daniela Flores and Hannah Starke lost 6-4, while Cora Delich and Paige Janka lost 6-3 at No. 2 doubles. Olivia Watzke and Gabby Potthoff lost at No. 3 by a score of 6-1.
 
The Mustangs lost all six singles matches in straight sets.
