BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Senior
Alex Lotts earned the lone All-NSIC honor for Southwest Minnesota State women's soccer team, making an appearance on the second team.
Lotts, a forward from Champlin, Minn., is a first time All-Conference honoree. She ended the season leading the team with seven goals, two assists, 37 shots, and 26 shots on goal. Her seven goals in conference play were tied for the sixth most in the NSIC.
The highlight of her season came Sept. 23-Oct. 9., when she scored five goals in six games, recording a goal or assist in all six games. She was the scrapper of the Mustang attack, constantly providing pressure against opposing defenses and indirectly creating chances.
She started all 17 of 18 games this season.
Southwest Minnesota State women's soccer team ended its season last Thursday with a 3-2 win against Sioux Falls. The Mustangs finished the season at 3-8-7 overall and 3-8-4 in the conference.
