BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Southwest Minnesota State University women's soccer senior defender Laney Brill was named to the All-NSIC second team the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference announced Thursday morning.
 
The all-conference teams and specialty awards were selected by the 16 conference head coaches. A total of 17 players were named All-NSIC first team, while 36 were recognized All-NSIC second team.  
 
Brill, a native Belle Fourche, S.D., played 16 matches with 14 starts. She played over 1,200 minutes, ranking third in conference play, and had two shots on goal. Brill was a five-year member of the program, appearing in 49 games with 35 starts.
 
Southwest Minnesota State concluded the season with a 3-15 overall record, including 2-13 in NSIC play.
