DES MOINES, Iowa -- Southwest Minnesota State University freshman track & field athlete Noah Eckelberg finished third out of five competitors in the wheelchair 400 meters at the Drake Relays held on Friday at Drake Stadium.
 
A native of Marshfield, Wis., Eckelberg crossed the finish line with time of 55.42. Erik Hightower, a three-time Paralympian, won the race with a time of 52.53, while Miguel Jimenez finished in second-place at 53.41.
 
Eckelberg earlier this season recorded a time of 55.05 at the Minnesota State University Open.
