GREENWOOD, Ind. — Southwest Minnesota State University senior Madi Foutz and sophomore Haley Mason have been named to the 2023 CSC Academic All-District® soccer team released on Tuesday. The selection and announcement were made by the College Sport Communicators, formally CoSIDA, and recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
 
Foutz, an environmental science major from Brighton, Colo., started in all 17 matches for the Mustangs. She was a part of three shutouts for the Mustangs, recorded two shots on goal and played a total of 1,108 minutes. Foutz was an Academic All-District team member last season.

Mason, a pre-med and psychology major from Chippewa Falls, Wis., appeared and started in 16 matches. Mason was named second team All-NSIC after leading the Mustangs with three goals and 23 shots on goal, while playing 949 minutes. This is Mason's first time earning the honor.
 
Foutz and Mason are the 11th and 12th individual honorees in program history.
