MARYVILLE, Mo. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's golf team concluded its fall season on Tuesday shooting a final round 76-over-par 364 to finish in 11
th place at the 12-team Midwest Classic with a 124-over 700. The two-round tournament was played at the par-72 Mozingo Lake Golf Course.
Isabella Jacobs shot SMSU's low-round on Tuesday with one birdie and five pars to shoot a 15-over 87 and finish tied for 46
th overall at 31-over 175.
Mallory Uselman was the Mustangs' highest finisher in the tournament placing 45
th at 30-over 174. She shot a 22-over 94 on Tuesday with five pars.
Danielle Podoll tied for 52
nd at 33-over 177 following a final round 21-over 93 with one par.
Berkley Steffen shot an 18-over 90 on Tuesday with one birdie and two pars to finish tied for 58
th at 38-over 182.
Meghan Pundsack rounded out SMSU's team play finishing 60
th at 39-over 183 after carding a 27-over 99 with four pars in the final round.
A total of four Mustangs played as individuals over the two days.
Natalie Appel placed 69
th at 55-over 199,
Allie Nedved shot 62-over 206 to finish 71
st, while
Roni Hook placed 72
nd at 69-over 213.
Ellie Krueger, who missed Monday's round due to illness, shot a 21-over 93 on Tuesday.
Central Missouri won the team title at 48-over 624, with UCM's Libby Green earning medalist honors at even-par 144.
SMSU returns to play on March 10-11, 2025, with the SMSU Spring Invite held at Wigwam Resort Red Course in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
