MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's and men's track & field teams will compete in a pair of meets this week in Mankato hosted by Minnesota State in its final preparation for the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference meet on May 8-10.
 
SMSU will compete on Wednesday at the Maverick Open #1 starting at 12:30 p.m., while on Friday the team will return to Mankato for the Maverick Open #2 starting at 1 p.m.
 
The NSIC Championships will be held in Duluth, Minn., from May 8-10 on the campus of the University of Minnesota Duluth.
