HUDSON, Wis. – The Southwest Minnesota State women's golf team shot a final round score of 35-over-par 319 on Tuesday to finish with a two-round score of 76-over 644 to place tied for sixth at the 14-team Minnesota State/Concordia-St. Paul Fall Brawl played at the par 71 Troy Burne Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.
Minnesota State won the team title with a score of 31-over 599, earning a 10-shot win over second place Washburn (Kan.). Victoria Woytassek earned medalist honors shooting a 2-over 144.
SMSU's
Isabella Jacobs tied for sixth overall carding an 8-over 150, following Tuesday's round of 6-over 77, with three birdies and eight pars.
Berkley Steffen tied for 26
th at 18-over 160, shooting a 7-over 78 on Tuesday with a pair of birdies and seven pars.
Meghan Pundsack shot SMSU's low round on Tuesday with a 5-over 76, rolling in three birdies and eight pars. She finished tied for 34
th overall with a score of 21-over 163.
Carly Hamman shot a 17-over 88 on Tuesday with four pars to close with a two-round score of 31-over 173 to place 66
th.
Allie Nedved rounded out SMSU's team play with a two-day total of 35-over 177 to finish 71
st. Nedved made one par in the final round for a score of 21-over 92.
Roni Hook played as an individual and finished shooting 43-over 185, following a round of 23-over 94 on Tuesday.
SMSU returns to action on Sept. 27-28 hosting the annual EverSpring Inn & Suites Mustang Invite at the Marshall Golf Club.
