BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's golf team opened the 2025-26 season on Tuesday finishing day one of the 18-team Central Region Fall Preview shooting with a 46-over-par 334 at the Adams Pointe Golf Club.
Isabella Jacobs led the Mustangs with a 6-over 78 and is in 42
nd place in the 90-player field. Jacobs had one birdie and 11 pars in carding her fourth career sub-80 round.
Carly Hamman, playing in her first collegiate round, recorded one birdie and eight pars on her way to a 7-over 79 and is in 51
st overall.
Berkley Steffen shot a 14-over 86 to sit in 80th place recording one birdie and nine pars.
Meghan Pundsack shot a 19-over 91 with six pars, while
Allie Nedved closed with a 22-over 94 recording a pair of pars.
Central Missouri leads after day one, shooting a four-over 292 and holds a three-shot lead over Nebraska-Kearney. Mia Rallo from Central Missouri is the individual leader in the 90-player field after shooting a 3-under 69.
The tournament concludes on Wednesday morning with tee times.
