MANKATO, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's and men's track & field teams concluded day one of the NSIC Indoor Championships on Friday inside Myers Field House on the campus of Minnesota State University.
For the women's team,
Seely Stockmoe earned SMSU three points with a sixth-place finish in the weight throw with a personal best toss of 16.71m.
Christine Sleeter cleared 1.63m in the high jump to finish seventh overall and earn two team points.
Shealyn Tom finished with a season best 3.46m in the pole vault to place ninth with
Victoria Robillard clearing 3.46m to finish 11
th with the best mark of her career.
On the men's side,
Brad Tang qualified for the finals in the 60 meters running a time of 6.97 in today's prelims.
Roel Palomo ran a personal best 1:22.82 in the 600 meters to finish ninth overall.
Colton Johnson placed ninth in the long jump at 6.80m with
BT Teboh 11
th at 6.68m.
Chaden Carroll cleared 4.38m in the pole vault to finish 11
th.
Deekon Anvid finished 12
th in the weight throw at 17.10m.
SMSU will begin the final day of the NSIC Championships on Saturday at 12 p.m.
