MARSHALL, Minn. – Officials from Southwest Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul announced on Thursday this weekend's three-game Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference baseball series between the two schools will now be played on Friday and Saturday at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
The teams will play a doubleheader on Friday morning starting at 7, with a single game on Saturday also starting at 7 a.m. SMSU will serve as the 'home' team for all three games.
The series was originally scheduled to be played Saturday and Sunday at Legion Field in Marshall, but poor weather forced the series to be relocated.
SMSU is 12-5 overall, 2-4 NSIC, while CSP is 8-10 overall, 3-3 NSIC.
