GAME NOTES

Setting the Scene: The Southwest Minnesota State soccer team (0-0, 0-0 NSIC) will open its 2010 season Saturday against Colorado-Colorado Springs at 7 p.m. at Mattke Field at the Regional Event Center.

Series notes:  Saturday's contest with Colorado-Colorado Springs will be the second meeting between the two teams which first met in 2008. In their previous match-up SMSU traveled to Colorado Springs where UCCS defeated the Mustangs 1-0.

Last time out:  The Mustangs earned an exhibition win Saturday at Mattke Field when they defeated Bethel 3-1. Kelly Fitzgerald, Whitney Borstad and Tatum Borstad all netted goals for SMSU.
