FAYETTE, Iowa - No. 8 Upper Iowa used four bonus point bout victories to defeat Southwest Minnesota State 27-9 on Sunday. UIU took seven of ten bouts to improve to 10-1-1 overall, 3-0 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, while SMSU falls to 9-4 overall, 3-1 in the NSIC.

SMSU allowed Upper Iowa to push the 125 and 157 bouts to major decisions with last second takedowns.

Justin Reinsma took down his eighth straight opponent to notch his 23rd win of the season and 104th of his career. The win vaulted him passed Dan Wolf for 5th all-time in program history.
