MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's and men's track & field teams are back in action this Friday and Saturday in Mankato competing at the Mark Schuck Open & Multi hosted by Minnesota State University.
Action begins on Friday at 1 p.m. with the pentathlon and heptathlon, while field events start at 4 p.m. and running events at 5 p.m. Competition continues Saturday starting with field events at 10 a.m. and running events at 12:30 p.m.
Both Mustangs squad had a strong meet last Saturday at the Cobber Open in Moorhead with numerous first-place finishes, while the men's 4x200 relay team set a school record at 1:30.56.
Following this weekend, SMSU returns to Mankato on Feb. 7 for the Ted Nelson Classic.
