MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State University women's golf team opens the 2025-26 season on Tuesday and Wednesday competing at the 18-team, 36-hole, Central Region Preview held at Adams Point Golf Club in Blue Springs, Mo.
SMSU opens first round play on Tuesday with tee times starting at 9:07 a.m. The final round begins on Wednesday with tee times starting at 8:30 a.m.
This year's field includes Augustana, Wayne State and Winona State from the NSIC, along with Arkansas-Monticello, Harding (Ark.), Henderson State (Ark.), Oklahoma Baptist, Southern Arkansas, Southeastern Oklahoma State, Southern Nazarene (Okla.), and Arkansas Tech from the Great American Conference. Schools competing form the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association include Central Missouri, Northeastern State (Okla.), Missouri Western State, Missouri Southern State, Nebraska-Kearney, and Northwest Missouri State.

Carly Hamman.
SMSU finished 16
th out of 17 teams in last year's Central Region Preview played at Adams Point Golf Club, shooting a 71-over-par 647 (330-317).
