MARSHALL Minn.- This Wednesday SMSU Esports FIFA team will compete in the second round of playoffs earning a bye through the first round being the second seed in the tournament. In the second round Thomas Adegbite will be facing Shaggy_Flux54 representing Buena Vista University. 
 
Adegbite earned such high seeding going into the tournament with the impressive regular season he put together, going 5-1 and his solo loss coming in the fourth week against Old Dominion University where the series went all three games but lost 2-1 overall. 
 
This isn't the first time these two players went up against one another, the first week of the regular season Adegbite was able to win 2-0 in the series with scores of 5-0 in the first game and 2-0 in the second. 
 
The SMSU Madden team won last Friday 2-1 in its first round of playoffs going against Minnesota State. Matthew Hennen will go up against WVU Potomac State College's, The Molander, in the quarter finals of the tournament on Friday at 7 p.m.
