MARSHALL, Minn. -- The Southwest Minnesota State University Esports Valorant team lost 3-1 on Thursday night to the Milwaukee School of Engineering in the finals of the NECC Emergence Cyan Division.

SMSU, which has been dominate all season long, will find out next week if the team will still advance to compete in the national tournament.
