MARSHALL, Minn. – The Southwest Minnesota State Esports Rocket League team moved to 2-0 on the season Friday night with a convincing 3-0 (4-2, 7-1, 6-1) series win against Hawkeye Community College.
Gavin Rohner (R0hner) led the Mustangs on both ends with 10 goals and 5 saves across the series. Both Sean Sauve (KamiSean.) and Sam Kleven (Revolutionwolf5) had phenomenal offensive series as well, with Sean contributing 3 goals and 6 assists, while Sam contributed 4 goals and 5 assists.
The SMSU Eports will return to action at 6:00 on Monday, Sept. 26, with their Rocket League series against Lubbock Christian University (Texas).
