SMSU Athletics Hall of Honor
The 1985 softball team captured the program's first-ever conference championship and also won its first-ever NAIA District 13 championship.
The team advanced to the NAIA Bi-District championship series before falling to Wisconsin-Parkside.
Led by head coach Glenn Mattke, the NAIA District Coach of the Year, SMSU finished 21-13 overall and won the league title with a record of 9-1. Five players were named NAIA All-District, while three players earned all-conference accolades.
