SMSU Athletics

Chuck Thompson (track, 1972-73) was a standout in track for SMSU in the early 1970s.  He was a two-time team Most Valuable Performer in 1972 and 1973 and was also a two-time conference champion in the discus.

Thompson was also a two-time All-NIC honoree and participated in the 1973 NAIA championships.

Thompson was an original member of the SMSU PE Building Wall of Fame.
